We know that buying a holiday lodge is a big a decision. There are many things to consider before committing to a purchase and we want to make sure you have all the information you need in order to make an informed decision.
To help guide you we’ve outlined some of the costs on top of the purchase price that you will need to consider.
Unlike some parks, we offer a range of extras as part of the purchase price, saving you time and money. These include:
Site Fees
As the owner of a holiday home in Mid Wales at our park, you will own the holiday lodge but not the ground that it sits on nor the surrounding land. You will pay annual site fees in order to help maintain the park to a high standard. These fees cover everything from landscaping to security, lighting to refuse collection as well as use of all park facilities, they include it all and help contribute to the feel of the park that our owners love. Our annual site fees are £4,500, due annually every January.
General Rates
General rates are due to contribute to local services and the council. These are due annually in June.
Insurance
We require all holiday homes to be insured, which will cover you should the unexpected happen. Our chosen insurance provider is Gallaghers who are happy to provide cover for and we can help arrange this for you. Our chosen insurer renews policies annually in June. Alternatively, you can opt for your own cover with another insurer.
Utilities
You will need to pay for electricity usage in the same way you do for your permanent address. Unit rates are 27p per Kwh, gas is TBC. This is due annually in November.
