Coarse Fishing

Located just below our touring pitches you will find our course fishing pool, which is well stocked with carp weighing up to 12lb, tench, bream and crucian carp.

Red Kite Touring Park is quite superb; in location, the spotless standard of amenities and helpfulness of the staff. We were struggling to load our car onto a trailer until one of the staff did it all for us! We highly recommend this peaceful conveniently located site and will definitely be returning.

‼️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️

As we’re sure most of you are aware, energy costs have risen drastically over the past 18 months, and as a business, we are not exempt from this. Our electric fees have more than doubled, and as such we have had to re-evaluate our pitch fees, and how we can carry on in the way that is fairest to all our guests.

Unfortunately, we have also seen an increased wasteful mentality amongst some guests, for example we’ve noticed awnings being heated (with no one in them), heating on with doors wide open, air conditioning left on all day whilst unit is unoccupied.

Throughout this year, we have been examining electric usage of guests whilst on park, and have worked out that a fair usage for guests in order to be comfortable but mindful of electric usage averages to around 7 units per night.
From this information, we have decided that from 2024 we will be moving to a metered electric system. All pitch fees will now be inclusive of 7kwh of electric per night, with the option to purchase more electric at 44p per unit (the price we pay) in our on-site shop/reception during our opening hours.

Any whole unused units will be refunded at the end of your stay, whether this is from your inclusive allowance or from any extra purchased.

We hope that you can agree that this is the fairest option to all of you.

We believe we have already contacted all guests who have a booking with us for 2024, but if we do happen to have missed you and you have any questions regarding your booking, please do not hesitate to contact us.
